So, Hubby and I got rid of all of our movie channels through our cable subscription. There went 40+ dollars off my cable bill, thank you! We just never watched them. So instead, we subscribed to NetFlix. I figured, we'd try it out, see how it went and I could always cancel it if we didn't get the chance to watch the movies. Well, it's a month later and I've seen more "new" movies in the last month than I have in the last year.
The Pacifier- Cute movie. Predictable, but amusing. Funnier for kids than parents, but a movie the parents can certainly stand watching with youngsters. Vin Diesel does prove, however, that if he has to rely on his acting instead of the stunts, he might want to take a few more classes.
Phantom of the Opera- Hated the movie version. I just love the stage version and it seemed to lose some of its majesty by moving to the screen.
Mean Girls- Hysterically funny. And it's nice to see Lindsay Lohan before she got all anorexic looking. And it's nice to see that Lacey Chabert lives after Party of Five.
Walking Tall- I wanted to love it. I didn't. It was decent, though.
Secret Window- Oh dear Lord I loved this movie! Johnny Depp just rocks!
Were supposed to see The Aviator but it was too long of a movie and we didn't get a chance to see it so we sent it back for a new movie.
Saw something else too, but I forget what. It just seems to work out really well for us.
Check it out. www.netflix.com

As for Mean Girls---I've liked Lohan since her AW days when she was Ali-baba with a HUGE crush on Jake McKinnon. (good taste)
